CLINICAL LECTURER IN HAEMATOLOGY

This is a protected academic training post in a world class research environment. Cambridge University is a world class centre for biomedical research and the Department of Haematology has particular strengths in myeloid malignancies, haematopoietic stem cells, haemostasis/thrombosis and transfusion medicine. Applicants will be able to consolidate their research experience and complete their clinical training in the context of a first class haematology training rotation. Applicants will be expected to hold an appropriate research qualification (PhD or MD or equivalent).
The person appointed will be of the standing required for an honorary contract of service with the NHS as a Specialist Registrar in Haematology and will usually have a minimum of 3 years haematology experience. The appointment will be for up to 4 years. Salary scale £30,685 to £53,132.
